All
students are entitled to experience a curriculum that is non Euro-centric;
that challenges racial, cultural, religious, homophobic and gender based prejudice;
that is accessible to individuals of differing physical and intellctual ability
and that actively seeks to promote equal opportunities at all levels in its
messages both stated and underlying.
Students
have the right to an arts experience that extends knowledge and understanding
of themselves, the wider arts community and the social, political, cultural,
economic and historical context in which arts traditions have evolved. Students
should have access to the philosophy of arts, and are entitled to aspire to
standards of excellence intellectuallt and with regard to their practical
activity.
