John Lyons
has exhibited nationally and internationally.
His touring
shows include Behind the Carnival, 1992 to 1994. and Mythopoeia, 1997 to 1998.
He has works in public collections at Huddersfield Art gallery, the Arts Council,
South Bank Centre and the V&A. Private collections are in the United States
of America, France, Holland and the United Kingdom.

John
Lyons worked with year 10 Expressive Arts students creating large scale masks
to link with music, poetry and drama. The twilight inset session focused on
working with cross curricular arts' providing an opportunity for teachers to
share good practice and network.

Lyons is now based at the Hourglass Studio gallery which he established in 1998

explore relationships between the arts
John
Lyons' commitment to arts education is enthusiastic, he regularly works in galleries,
universities, schools and colleges.
As
a poet he has published two full collections and there are numerous anthologies
in which his poems can be found.
